Compliance monitoring of container status

The New Zealand Customs Service continues to monitor importations where an entry is received showing the status as Full Container Load (FCL) and further entries, for the same container, are also received.  

Information about this monitoring programme was provided in Customs Release, Issue 25, of 29 January 2010.

For imports in the June period, nine shipments were identified as being non compliant. The Customs value of non compliant entries was $162,430.
