Manhattan Associates Announces New Head for Australia & New Zealand

Manhattan veteran enlisted to build on existing success in the Australia and New Zealand markets.

SYDNEY – January 18, 2011 – Global supply chain optimisation provider, Manhattan Associates, Inc. (NASDAQ: MANH) today announced the appointment of Raghav Sibal as managing director of Manhattan Associates in Australia and New Zealand. 

Based in Sydney, Sibal will have responsibility for all aspects of Manhattan’s operations in the Australian and New Zealand markets including: sales, marketing, consulting services, customer service and business development. Fundamentally, Sibal will be tasked with strengthening ties with existing clients and partners, expanding the customer portfolio and extending the company’s footprint throughout Australia and New Zealand. 

Reporting to Jeff Baum, senior vice president (APAC) at Manhattan Associates, Sibal will also have responsibility for increasing uptake for two of the company’s leading supply chain solutions including Manhattan SCALE™ ttp  a potfolio of distribution management and transportation management solutions built on Microsoft .NET technology; and Manhattan SCOPE®  a portfolio of software solutions and technology that leverages a Supply Chain Process Platform to help organisations optimise their supply chains from planning through execution.  

Having worked all over the world with Manhattan Associates during the past nine years, most recently in the role of senior director in Manhattan’s Consulting Services Department, Sibal has managed a number of significant global and local customer projects across a wide range of industry sectors with companies such as adidas Group, Giant Eagle,  Staples,  Life Technologies, OHL and Pfizer to name but a few. 

Prior to joining Manhattan Associates, Sibal worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as a member of the company’s Supply Chain Operational Solutions (SCOS) practice based in Chicago.

Sibal holds an MBA from the University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada and a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from RV College of Engineering, Bangalore, India.
