Networking and Brand YOU development workshop

As an industry-first initiative, the Supply Chain and Logistics Association of Australia (SCLAA) Queensland Division, Future Leader’s Group has partnered with the Australian Institute of Management, to offer leading-edge development tailored to the Supply Chain, Logistics and Transport industry.

Sponsored by the Department of Transport and Main Roads, the first session is a half-day personal development workshop on how to network effectively and how to ensure that your unique brand ‘YOU’ is as good as it can be. This workshop is ideally suited for those newer to the industry and under the age of 35 and will be held on Thursday the 20th of October at the Australian Institute of Management.

This interactive workshop will cover:

•    The scope and power of networking in the Supply Chain, Logistics and Transport industry and beyond
•    Understanding yourself and what you have to offer
•    Building relationships
•    Planning your approach to networking
•    Maintaining and building your personal brand

If you are a young person in the Supply Chain, Logistics and Transport industry and want to know how to be a better ‘YOU’, then register now for this unique workshop! If you are a more `experienced’ member of the Industry, then this is a great opportunity to develop a young person in your team.  There will be some refreshments and nibblies provided at the end of the workshop so that you can have a chance to practice your new skills!

The Australian Institute of Management is a highly regarded professional association and Registered Training Organisation. The workshop will be facilitated by Jacqui Perkins who is an accomplished facilitator with many years of experience in the corporate world at a senior management level. Jacqui has over 15 years of training experience and understands how important networking is and can be, for you! All participants will receive a certificate of participation at the end of the workshop.
